Educational information only
All content on PregnancyCalc — calculators, articles, tables, and examples — is published for general educational purposes. It is not pregnancy advice and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. We are not obstetric clinician or midwifes, and no client or advisory relationship is created by your use of this Site.
Pregnancy dates computed from last menstrual period are population averages — ovulation timing, cycle length, and ultrasound measurements routinely move an official due date by days to two weeks. Only your clinician's dating (typically the first-trimester ultrasound) is authoritative.
Weight-gain ranges are Institute of Medicine population guidelines; individual recommendations differ with multiple pregnancies, pre-existing conditions, and your clinician's judgment. Any bleeding, severe pain, reduced fetal movement, or fluid loss is an urgent-contact symptom — not a calculator question.
Accuracy of calculations
We implement well-known, publicly documented formulas (see the methodology section on each calculator page and ACOG and IOM public clinical guidance as applicable). Even correctly implemented formulas produce estimates that depend on your inputs and assumptions. Real-world outcomes vary. Do not rely on a single web tool for a consequential decision.
Advertising disclosure

Errors and corrections
If you spot an error, please email hello@pregnancycalc.app with the inputs you used. Verified corrections are published promptly.
